(Re)Install the LEARN App

Install LEARN Global App
To install the LEARN Global Android app for the first time or if it becomes unstable or has been deleted from your device for some reason, you can (re)install it from the Google Play store.

Note: Internet access is required

Sync Existing Data

If you are unable to open the LEARN app or have issues Syncing please contact LEARN Global Support

  1. Connect to the Internet
  2. Open the LEARN app and tap the Sync button. All data will be uploaded and saved online.
  3. Tap the centre button at the very bottom of the screen to return to the home screen
Uninstall LEARN App

Note: only do this if requested by LEARN Global Support

  1. Find the Settings app and tap to open it
  2. Tap on Apps & notifications (or similar option)
  3. Scroll until you see the LEARN app and tap on it
  4. Tap UNISTALL
Install LEARN App

  1. Open the Google Play app
  2. Tap the search bar at the top and type LEARN Zimbabwe then press the search button (magnifying glass). Note: it may already exist in this list; if so tap on it.
  3. The LEARN Zimbabwe app should be displayed in the search results list. Tap on it
  4. If already installed, tap the 'Uninstall' button to remove it from your device
  5. Tap the green 'Install' button to (re)install the app. Note: the size of the app will be approximately 18-20mb
  6. When installed, tap the green 'Open' button to open the app
Register App

  1. Your device's serial number should already be entered in the Serial text box. Tap 'Next'
  2. Your name should be populated. You can edit these details now if required.
    Note: if there is an issue with Internet connectivity or the LEARN Global web server is offline please retry in 10 minutes. If this continues please contact LEARN Global support
  3. Tap 'Next'. The device will register then display the Sync screen
  4. Tap the green cloud arrow graphic to download all resources etc. onto your device.
    Note: this process will take some time depending on your Internet connection. DO NOT turn your device off or interact with it during syncing. If this happens, exit the app then open it and try again
  5. Once all data has downloaded, the welcome screen will be shown. Tap 'Next' until the option to tap 'Finish' appears
  6. The main app Portal screen will show on successful completion
